Job

persecuted, an Arabian patriarch who resided in the land of Uz (q.v.). While living in the midst of great prosperity, he was suddenly overwhelmed by a series of sore trials that fell upon him. Amid all his sufferings he maintained his integrity. Once more God visited him with the rich tokens of his goodness and even greater prosperity than he had enjoyed before. He survived the period of trial for one hundred and forty years, and died in a good old age, an example to succeeding generations of integrity (Ezek. 14:14, 20) and of submissive patience under the sorest calamities (James 5:11). His history, so far as it is known, is recorded in his book.

CRCC Website

Just a shameless plug for our church website, which seems to be low on the Google love as of late. Jennie and I completely redesigned the site late last year and launched it on Jan 1. We've had lots of good feedback.

Staff Christmas Party 2006

This will be kinda boring for anyone but those who were there. I don't recommend watching this unless you have a few minutes to completely waste. ;-)

Last night, we were sitting at church, talking to some friends. While I was holding Mac, she just started laughing randomly. It was hilarious and exciting. I've heard her laugh in her sleep before, and there's the frequent smile and coo, but this was the first time I heard her just outright laugh hysterically. I'll never forget it.

She's also doing fun things with her hands and her mouth. A few days ago, she figured out how to make a clicking sound with her tongue. It's so funny. At one point, it was almost like a language between us -- we would click, and she would click back. It's so cute.
