A lot of interior work has been going on lately, with the ceiling being framed yesterday. Our ceiling will be 9 feet high in the kitchen and hallways, but will box up to 10 feet in the living and dining area.

Jennie and I went with some friends to the Rodeo last friday. It was all bull-riding, which prior to Friday I'd say I'd never get Jennie to watch, but it turned out to be quite fun. Nobody go seriously hurt, and the whole event was quite thrilling. Our friends the Zongkers were there, and Jeremy describes the night much better on his blog.

That roof is beautiful! Well, it's see-through. That will make it difficult for shedding water, but it's a good start! Maybe by next week we'll have something to cover that thing.

You probably can't get a sense for the size of this thing just by looking at the photo, so let me tell you... this thing is huge! I remember talking about the height, but until yesterday, I didn't realize just how tall that really was.

We now have (almost) completed stairs to the second floor. I took a little stroll up and down this morning, and they feel very well spaced. Not too close together or too tall.
