Flickr Map

Flickr has added geotagging, which means photos can now have information about where they were taken. That information is then used to build maps and relate your photos to other people's (in yet another way).

Until cameras have built-in GPS's, this is quite a manual process, but I've already tagged a bunch of my photos. You can see my map here. Click the pink dots to view photos for that location.

Weird.

Senior Moment

I had a total brain cell reduction instant (aka Senior Moment) today. I went to lunch at twelve-ish and came back at one-ish. When I looked at the clock on the wall outside my office, it read two-something p.m. Weird. That clock must be wrong. So I checked my phone... two o'clock! OK, I just lost an hour of my life in a blink! Did I take a two-hour lunch, or did I leave at 1:00?

To convince myself I didn't goof off for two hours instead of just the normal one hour, I looked for evidence. And I found it in an email I had sent at 12:50 -- proof enough that I was just an hour late in leaving for lunch. How in the world did that happen? I'm always starving by noon! Must have been that pack of chocolate donuts I ate for breakfast. :-)

A Man Weekend

I experienced my first baseball game this weekend. Several men took a trip to Kansas City to attend Promise Keepers and a Royals game. Someday I'll write down all my thoughts regarding that, but for now, some pictures will have to do.
