Gone are the days of staring at a blank concrete slab and wondering where everything will be. Much of the downstairs is framed, and more will be completed today.

Life

Plant
Originally uploaded by Tim Morgan.
I kept this plant from Dad's funeral. It sits in my office and keeps me company on most days of the week. I think it's neat because it sorta represents life to me, though it came into my possesion via death.

I water it occasionally and think of my dad, who is experiencing eternal life as you read this.

Morgan Car

I got to see a Morgan car up close the other day. I've seen them online, but never in person before. I'll have to say I don't really like the looks of them, but the fact that they carry my name is pretty cool.

Construction Update

I finally broke down and bought a new memory card for my camera. My old one will likely turn up in a few days, which is why I was reluctant to spend money on a new one, but oh well.

Anyway, our stalled construction is now underway again. We had a short delay while we revised our plans a little (i.e., move this room here, move these rooms upstairs, move the hot water heater over there, etc.).

Our new concrete slab will be poured today. By the end of the week, God willing, we'll have stud walls. Yipee!
