Blog Visits
Not that this surprises me, but it's always nice to see that the statistics line up with perception. It seems our family blog gets most of its visits from Oklahoma and Arkansas (where most of our friends and family live). What this means is that our blog is not wildly popular with random strangers. Sob :-(

Snowed In
My employer closed shop today due to the weather. It was a unexpected
blessing to get to stay home and inside with Jennie and Mac. We
worked on the house, getting ready for our baby shower/open house
party tomorrow. We also set up the Christmas tree.
Our home is really starting to feel like a home. I know that sounds
weird, but it's taken us several weeks to get used to this new place
and find a place for all our stuff. It's so neat that every appliance
and book and movie and cup and chair and everything else now has a
special place to live inside our home. When you live in a
small/disorganized space, things don't exactly go anywhere except a
box or a corner or a stack.

Tim & I just recently joined facebook.com and it's pretty cool.
The house is 3 weeks away from being complete. Our baby, Mackenzie Grace Morgan, is due on November 5th. We're praying she doesn't come early.

Senior Moment
I had a total brain cell reduction instant (aka Senior Moment) today. I went to lunch at twelve-ish and came back at one-ish. When I looked at the clock on the wall outside my office, it read two-something p.m. Weird. That clock must be wrong. So I checked my phone... two o'clock! OK, I just lost an hour of my life in a blink! Did I take a two-hour lunch, or did I leave at 1:00?
To convince myself I didn't goof off for two hours instead of just the normal one hour, I looked for evidence. And I found it in an email I had sent at 12:50 -- proof enough that I was just an hour late in leaving for lunch. How in the world did that happen? I'm always starving by noon! Must have been that pack of chocolate donuts I ate for breakfast. :-)
